Why This Monster is Even Better Now

This Onyx Sentinel is an Epic reward card that was dropped during the Untamed Collection and at the time it was not that great and did not get much gameplay. However, as this card is all about resisting attacks he does not have an attack of his own. This is perfect to get paired up on either side of one of the new Soul Bound cards that give weapons training

I can see myself using this card as a tank in a low mana battle, you get a lot of staying power for such a low mana cost, combine him with other cards or summoners that will de-buff attacks and you may get a zero damage hit with any type of attack, range melee or even magic, hey get him to level 5 and he will deal some thorns damage to melee attackers.

Side Note: This Monster is a NEUTRAL yeah works with all splinters

These Stats Fit With So Many Rules

Reverse Speed

All through his levels, he will keep his speed at only one, which makes him perfect for the reverse rules, and makes him the fastest guy in the arena, In time if you are getting a few rewards chests, chances are you will eventually get a monster with weapons training and this make the Onyx Sentinel a perfect candidate.

Monster Have Snipe

When you see the Target Practice rule come up put the Onyx Sentinel behind the tank and all the opponent’s snipers will target him as you can see from the stats he is a very tough monster to kill. Even better if you have a monster with triage to restore any small amount of health that he might have lost.

Investment and Price Performance

The great news for new players is that the Soul Bound Collection is well worth the time and effort that you put into the game, in my option you will be able to build a much more powerful combo by adding the Soulbond units into your ranks.

So I have been playing for a fair amount of time now so I was getting these cards in my rewards FOR FREE well I did have to battle for them, but the point is that you get these rewards for just playing and as the time of this post the price for one BCX is $1.25 but there are not many on the market, maybe all gone by the time the next collection drops.
